Remember if you earn less than R120 000, you don't have to submit a tax return. Read more...

  • Taxpayers will have access to their eFiling profile with SARS?s new client-centric functionality

  • Cool new signature pads at SARS branches

  • New fields on the ITR12
Under Medical Deductions, persons who previously qualified as a ?handicapped person?, must have their disability re-confirmed in order to continue to claim the deduction. • The IRP6 (Provisional Tax Return)
Because the majority of provisional taxpayers make their submissions electronically, SARS will no longer send out IRP6 returns to provisional taxpayers. The pre-populated provisional tax forms can be requested, captured and submitted via various channels:

    -  Log on to SARS eFiling or register for eFiling
    -  Visit your local SARS branch
    -  Call the SARS Contact Centre on 0800 00 SARS (7277).

  • Introduction of new Adobe Flash forms to eFiling
The enhancements are set to deliver a more pleasant and productive eFiling experience for all. While the new forms introduced this tax season can be accessed using version 9 and up of Adobe Flash Player, eFilers are advised to download Adobe Flash Player 10.1 for increased security and better viewing.   Read more...

  • The Notice of Assessment (now the ITA34)
A Statement of Account will be sent to taxpayers along with their ITA34.
